MOJLC is always looking for helping hands. Whether you're a parent, coach, or simply a youth lacrosse enthusiast, we encourage you to help out where you can. How can you help? Good question.
Here are some ways you can lend a hand:
- Become a part of the coaching staff. We're looking for coaches and assistant coaches.
- Become a team parent. We would like each team to have a parent to help distribute information to other parents and also organize various activities.
- Help with home games. For each home game, the field needs to be set up (and painted), stats must be taken, and someone must run the clock. This is a very important (and often overlooked) part of each game.
- Help organize registration, fundraisers, or the club picnic at the end of the season.
- Parents with video cameras are encouraged to tape games and share the film with coaches. Coaches can then review the game film with players and explain game situations.
- Parents with digital cameras are encouraged to take pictures and send them to coaches. (Eventually, we'd like to add an 'Action Photos' section to each team's page.
