Help Needed

MOJLC is always looking for helping hands. Whether you're a parent, coach, or simply a youth lacrosse enthusiast, we encourage you to help out where you can. How can you help? Good question.

Here are some ways you can lend a hand:

  • Become a part of the coaching staff. We're looking for coaches and assistant coaches.
  • Become a team parent. We would like each team to have a parent to help distribute information to other parents and also organize various activities.
  • Help with home games. For each home game, the field needs to be set up (and painted), stats must be taken, and someone must run the clock. This is a very important (and often overlooked) part of each game.
  • Help organize registration, fundraisers, or the club picnic at the end of the season.
  • Parents with video cameras are encouraged to tape games and share the film with coaches. Coaches can then review the game film with players and explain game situations.
  • Parents with digital cameras are encouraged to take pictures and send them to coaches. (Eventually, we'd like to add an 'Action Photos' section to each team's page.

If you're willing to lend a hand in any way, please contact the MOJLC Secretary via email at lacrosse@mojlc.org.
